VISIT CHAMPAGNE:
The Champagne beauty of the hillsides, the richness of the heritage and the hospitality of the vineyard combine to form a geography of happiness.
Find out where the Champagne Tourist Route leads by following the Champagne Tourist Route. This busy road winds through vineyard fields between forested hills. Several Champagne churches and villages cling to the jagged slopes.
The winegrowers' cellar doors invite you inside to savor their intoxicating scents. Exploring the vineyards along the Champagne Route will transport you to Avenue d'Epernay, where 2 million people take part in the festivities each year. Head north towards Hautvillers, a picturesque village set between vineyards and woods. The historic town is believed to be the place of origin of champagne.
In Reims, discover the world heritage city's unusual combination of architectural styles. Go to the Valmy flour mill and stroll through the half-timbered churches near Lac du Der. In the middle of the 16th century, explore the botanical garden of Marnay-sur-Seine and treat yourself to a stroll. Then stroll through the Orient forest of Troyes and the lakes in its center. Rimbaud's life is full of highlights that you can discover in the Ardennes. Among them is the beautiful French town of Langres with its impressive fortifications.
Reims is the star of Champagne; it is an essential place to visit during a weekend in Champagne. First of all, you must visit Notre-Dame de Reims, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. The sublime Gothic cathedral was the site of French coronations for centuries.
Reims has many beautiful places to visit, such as the Pommery and Veuve Cliquot champagne houses. It also houses the Art Deco Carnegie Library and a Gallo-Roman march gate. The city center also includes Place du Forum, Cirque Carousel and Place d'Erlon. Additionally, the city is home to Art Deco architecture in the Opéra cinema and Place d'Erlon, which was built in 1865. Visitors can also stroll around Place d'Erlon, which is lined with beautiful houses dating back to the First World War.
During their coronation ceremonies, the kings of France stayed at the Palais de Tau, a royal residence located in Reims. Additionally, a city tour will help you discover this place.
Taking a nature walk in the Parc de Champagne or the Parc Pierre Schneiter is a good way to integrate the outdoors into the city. If you want to experience the stars far from the city, go see the Reims Planetarium!
Champenois should visit Epernay, the capital of Champagne, every weekend. This is because it is an important part of our culture.
The advantages of city life - such as access to different cultures and environments - combine with the benefits of rural life during a stay in Epernay. This is because it is easily accessible by train, which is why it is an ideal place to visit Champagne.
The most prized cultural and architectural heritage of Epernay is sheltered on the surface. Avenue de Champagne is home to the most prestigious Champagne houses on the planet. These houses include Moët & Chandon, which are considered unrivaled by any other in the world. But Avenue de Champagne is also 110 kilometers of underground galleries where the nectar is stored.
The captive balloon of Epernay is worth the detour, even if you are staying in the town. It will take passengers more than 150 meters in the air and allow them to see the surrounding neighborhoods as they climb.
It seemed like a secret, but Champagne actually encompasses a tropical oceanside area covered in strange animals. It’s crazy, but the Shell Cave in Fleury-la-Rivière arouses your curiosity with its finds!
The Fleury-la-rivière shell cellar is located in the underground galleries of Legrand-Latour. This is a guided tour into an underground environment that transports visitors 45 million years ago to observe Champagne snails in action.
A weekend in Champagne offers a great opportunity to explore the geological elements of the Lutetian discoveries and their fossils alongside other explorations.

Hautvillers Abbey was home to the spiritual father of champagne, a Benedictine monk who devoted a significant part of his life to it, from 1668 until his death in 1715. It was at this time that he refined and discovered the techniques that paved the way for the production of the champagne we know today.
Legend has it that Hauvillers Abbey was founded by Saint Nivard, archbishop of Reims, in 650 after a prophetic omen. Currently, the abbey is included on the UNESCO world heritage list under the Hillsides, Houses and Cellars of Champagne.
Uncover the secrets of Hautvillers, the cradle of champagne. This picturesque region owes its fame to the pioneer monk, Dom Pérignon, recognized as the spiritual father of the effervescent drink.
The Ambassadors of Hautvillers and your driver are keen to make you relive the historical events that shaped this charming Champagne village. You will relive the founding of the abbey, the legend of Dom Pérignon and the tradition of wrought iron signs.
The large Château de Boursault stands on the remains of a fortified castle formerly owned by the barons of Boursault. The neo-renaissance style structure, close to the Château de Chambord, has 365 openings - a stark contrast to the 35 chimneys of the Château de Chambord. From the front, the Château de Boursault emanates a resplendent aura, with its high roof adorned with ornate ears of corn and its windows with finely detailed pediments. It's no wonder the castle was built for hosting grand receptions, with such monumental and impressive architecture.
Champagne Château de Boursault:
The 3 traditional Champagne grape varieties that make up the estate's vineyard are used to produce Champagne: Pinot Noir for power and body, Meunier for suppleness and fruit, Chardonnay for the fresh and delicate side.
The Pommery d'Aÿ-Champagne pressing center presents itself as a remarkable intersection of architectural and industrial heritage, thanks to the expansive growth of the House in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Immerse yourself in PRESSORIA’s interactive journey, engaging all five senses in an exploration of the “wine of kings”. To elevate your events, PRESSORIA offers exclusive access to its permanent course, terrace and four annex lounges - each with customizable designs and essential amenities to meet your needs.
The Pommery style site is a distinctive "work of architecture", distinguished by its composition, treatment and intricate details that set it apart from all others.
In 1869, a new architectural style was born following the commission from the widow Pommery to build an estate at the top of the Saint Nicaise hill in Reims. Adopting elements of Anglo-Saxon design, the construction of the estate was supervised by two Reims architects, Alphonse Gosset and Charles Gozier. Featuring red brick, tall, narrow windows, dentil turrets and Tudor arches, the estate's aesthetic was characterized by a striking contrast between its bluish gray cladding and the red brick.
